People can have an idea of what goes into building a house but since the development/programmer population is small compared to the overall population there is not as much understanding.

If you have ever been to a house with young kids and popular plastic building blocks you know just how much they hurt when you step on them. This comic speculates on the real impetus for selling the blocks.
Unified Field Party

Unified Field Theory is the idea that all of the fundamental forces are related and can be described with the same set of equations. Electromagnetism, the Weak Nuclear force, and the Strong Nuclear force have all been described in this way. Gravity, however, has so far resisted all unifying attempts. User manuals, when they are included, are among the most ignored things in the world. This comic is about that fact. It posits that had Germany spread their top secret messages in user manuals rather than using radio transmissions of messages encoded by the Enigma machine they probably would never have been found by the Allies.
Dragonfly

Dragonflies are remarkable insects. They have the highest percentage of their body weight dedicated to their flying muscles of any insect. They are capable of maneuvering like a helicopter or a high performance airplane. This comic compares them to the venerable P-51 Mustang.
Letter of Inheritance

Having played multiple characters in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim one of the mechanics I dislike the most is the Courier. There are multiple things he can deliver but the most common is the Letter of Inheritance. Unfortunately, most of the time the only reason the NPC died was that you were near by and triggered something hostile, like bandits or dragons.

Thomas Jefferson is without a doubt an important man in American history. He was only a young man but was chosen to draft the Declaration of Independence. That document outlined the reason when the Thirteen Colonies deserved to be independent from the tyrannical British Empire. This comic shows the eloquent approach of Jefferson and how he might have handled it today.
Saturn's Rings

Jupiter, Neptune, and Uranus also have planetary rings but none in our solar system compares to Saturn's. This comic is about that.
Trigonometry

In my experience trigonometry was one of the most useful branches of mathematics. Tangent has always bothered my nerd brain since it spikes to infinity because of division of zero.
