A visualization of the frequency of character appearing in over a dozen classic English language novels on a QWERTY keyboard. I wrote a small php program to read the text of the novels (obtained from https://www.gutenberg.org/) to count each character included on the final keyboard and output those in JSON format for JavaScript to read and generate the graphic as HTML. I printed the page as a PDF and imported that into Inkscape.

Desktops

Web developers/programmers and designers need to work closely together if those duties are handled by different people. As a lead web developer I had ample opportunities of seeing the desktops of my fellow developers and the talented designers and how different their minds worked. This comic showcases the disparity in the laptop desktops. I created it with two little JavaScript-powered web pages, one for each desktop, to add emojis as the icons. I took the photos used as the backgrounds.

Web Development Pitfalls

Web development like most development/programming projects have pitfalls that other projects do not have to deal with. People can have an idea of what goes into building a house but since the development/programmer population is small compared to the overall population there is not as much understanding.
Nerd Tiles

This comic for the web developers/programmers generates the tiles that spell out four different nerd names: nerd, geek, dork, and dweeb. This could have been made simpler with just HTML and CSS but where is the fun in that. So it also includes JavaScript.
Ecodeji - Fibonacci sequence

This is a silly algorithm using JavaScript to make EMOJI character icons function as JavaScript keywords. It isn't a practical way of doing it but it is short enough to print on merchandise for fellow members of the nerd, developer/programmer, and IT communities.
Vetruvius [Stick] Man

Factorial is not particularly useful outside of statistics but is useful in teaching recursion in software development/programming. This graphic shows two ways of implementing factorial with JavaScript.

A nerd joke for web developers/programmers and web designers that routinely use Hex colors. There are a surprising number of English words you can create that are Hex colors.
Things That go Bump in the Night

This comic shows two characters both named “Bump” that are afraid of things that go bump during the day. One of the “Bumps” suggest they can scare the day-monsters away by making lots of noise in the middle of the night.
